Charitable Giving Policy

Policy Objectives

Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment (Hammond & Stafford Ltd) seeks to contribute to the communities in which we live and work in a number of ways. In addition to providing employment opportunities and minimising our environmental impact, we support a variety of local community initiatives and not-for-profit entities that closely align with the company’s values.

Charitable Giving Scheme:

Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment will make a financial donation to one of three preselected charities or non-profits at the completion of every recruitment role. Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment will consult with the Client to establish which of the three options below they wish to support.

Where applicable, the donation will be in the name ‘Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment on behalf of Client’. The donation will be a fixed amount of $250 Additionally, Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment has a limited corporate budget for additional charitable donations that make a positive impact in the community in and around the area near to its head office location or the sectors we operate in.

We support

Additionally, the Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment corporate charitable donations fund focuses on small charitable organisations that:

  • work in the community close to our Head Office (New Plymouth) and/or
  • have connections to the industries in which we operate

Grant sizes

Donations from the corporate fund are generally less than $500. Tasman Trolleys™ & Medical Equipment are formally committed to donating the equivalent of 2% of revenues or more to charitable partners each year (including in-kind product donations)
