Practical details to help you choose your configuration.

Ask our team
What is the difference between a dressing trolley and a utility trolley?

A dressing trolley keeps wound-care supplies and instruments accessible during treatment. A utility trolley provides flexible mobile storage for equipment and supplies. Choose shelves and edging around your workflow.

Can I choose the dimensions and shelves?

Yes. Select your preferred width, depth and one, two or three shelves in the configuration form. Contact Tasman for other requirements.

What materials are used?

The frame uses natural anodised aluminium posts. Standard shelves are removable 3mm compact laminate. Selected configurations shown have aluminium or stainless steel shelves; confirm your preferred material with Tasman.

Does the trolley arrive assembled?

Yes. Models are delivered fully assembled.

What are the shelf heights and load limits?

Standard top-shelf height is 900mm and the lower shelf is 400mm above the floor. Other arrangements can be discussed. The load limit is 50kg per shelf, evenly distributed.

Which edging options can I choose?

Choose 75mm guardrails, 30mm edging, edging with the front removed, or flush shelves without rails or edging. Specify your preferred arrangement in the form.

What warranty is included?

A 5-year renewable warranty. The initial warranty is five years and can be renewed through Tasman’s standard warranty programme, subject to its conditions. With appropriate care and maintenance, you should expect 10+ years of performance.

Why choose anodised aluminium posts?

Anodising forms a protective oxide layer within the aluminium surface. There is no separate paint film to peel or flake.

The hard anodised finish improves wear and corrosion resistance. Aluminium’s low density also makes it a practical choice for strong, lightweight frame components.

How should I clean and care for my trolley?
  • Remove equipment and clean surfaces with warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth.
  • Remove detergent residue with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Removable shelves allow access to the frame and shelf supports.
  • Use disinfectants confirmed compatible with anodised aluminium, compact laminate and any metal shelves fitted. Follow the product manufacturer’s dilution and contact-time instructions and your facility’s infection-control procedures.
  • Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and strong acidic or alkaline cleaners. Avoid chlorine bleach on stainless steel shelves.
  • Do not immerse the trolley or soak shelf edges, joints or castors. Keep castors free of hair and debris.
  • Do not autoclave, steam-clean or pressure-wash the complete trolley unless Tasman has confirmed suitability for the specific model.
