Before you choose

Your questions, answered.

Practical details to help you choose your configuration.

Ask our team
What is the difference between a dressing, instrument and procedure trolley?

These names describe how the trolley is used. Dressing trolleys organise wound-care supplies, instrument trolleys keep instruments accessible, and procedure trolleys support clinical tasks. Choose the configuration around your equipment and workflow.

Can I choose the size and number of shelves?

Yes. Select your preferred width, depth and one, two or three shelves. Contact Tasman for requirements outside the listed options.

Does the trolley arrive assembled?

Yes. All models are delivered fully assembled.

How high are the shelves?

Standard top-shelf height is 900mm above the floor. The lower shelf is 480mm above the floor.

How much weight can each shelf carry?

The load limit is 50kg per shelf, evenly distributed. Position heavier items on the lower shelf and avoid concentrated loads at shelf edges.

Can I have a top without guardrails?

Yes. Choose guardrails at the back and sides, or specify an open top without guardrails.

What warranty is included?

A 5-year renewable warranty. The initial warranty is five years and can be renewed through Tasman’s standard warranty programme, subject to its conditions. With appropriate care and maintenance, you should expect 10+ years of performance.

How should I clean and care for my trolley?
  • Clean routinely with warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth.
  • Wipe along the grain of brushed stainless steel, remove detergent residue with clean water and dry.
  • For clinical disinfection, use a product confirmed compatible with stainless steel and the trolley’s other components. Follow the disinfectant manufacturer’s dilution and contact-time instructions and your facility’s infection-control procedures.
  • Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, hydrochloric-acid cleaners and chlorine bleach, which can damage or pit stainless steel.
  • Remove spills promptly and keep castors free of hair and debris.
  • Do not autoclave, steam-clean or pressure-wash the complete trolley unless Tasman has confirmed suitability for your specific model.
